Brockton Area Prevention Collaborative

The Collaborative is the local substance use prevention coalition serving the towns of Bridgewater, Brockton, East Bridgewater, Hanson, Raynham, Rockland and Whitman. The Collaborative’s mission is to save lives from substance use and prevent the damage it can do to individuals, families, and our local community.

Plymouth County Outreach

Plymouth County Outreach (PCO) is a multi-faceted collaboration of the 27 municipal police departments in Plymouth County, as well as the Bridgewater State University Police Department, working together to make treatment more accessible for those struggling from Substance Use Disorder and their families.

Crisis Text Line

The Crisis Text Line serves anyone, in any type of crisis providing access to free 24/7 support via text. You can simply text Hello to 741-741 and you will be connected with a Crisis Counselor to share more about what you are going through. Crisis Counselors are trained volunteers, not professional. They can provide support, but not medical advice.

SAMHSA’s National Helpline

The helpline can be accessed by calling 1-800-662-HELP. This hotline is a confidential, free, 24 hours a day, 365 a year information service in English and Spanish for individuals and family members facing mental health and or substance use disorders. This service provides referrals to local treatment facilities, support groups, and community-based organizations.

Massachusetts Substance Use Helpline

This helpline can be accessed by calling 1-800-327-5050. This is the only statewide, public resource for finding substance use treatment and recovery services. Helpline services are free and confidential. Their training specialists will help you understand the treatment system and your options.

Mobile Crisis Intervention

This is an emergency/crisis service that is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year if you or a family member are experiencing a mental health or substance use disorder crisis. Anyone may contact this mobile crisis intervention by calling 1-877-382-1609.
