Bridging LIVES Resource Fair
Resource Fair
Throughout the entire 2017-2018 school year, Bridgewater Raynham Regional High School utilized their advisory period to focus on the topic of connectedness and substance use prevention. During one advisory block prior to prom that spring, the high school partnered with Bridging LIVES to host a Resource Fair for underclassmen, while juniors and seniors participated in their first mock OUI crash. This comprehensive initiative could not have been made possible without the commitment and coordination of the Bridging LIVES coalition members, school administration and faculty, as well as over 15 partner organizations from across the region. During the Resource Fair, students were able to learn about local resources that provide substance use and mental health services to the communities of Bridgewater and Raynham. In addition, students were able to learn how to respond to an opioid overdose through a simulation provided by a local hospital as well as participate in yoga and mindfulness activities hosted by the Well. To learn more about the resources provided at the fair, check out our partner organizations!
